The EasyPro Pond Vaults are built super heavy duty to withstand the pressure of being buried under rock. The vaults have slots cut in the sides which allows water into the pump. The maximum flow rates for each vault is listed below

The Model PV2300 Pump Vault is a new high-volume pump vault with over six-cubic feet of internal space. It accommodates larger pumps and flow rates up to 15,000 GPH, features an 18-inch opening for accessing the pump and plumbing, and offers versatility with two flat top and bottom panels for custom plumbing applications. There are 2-inch and 3-inch cut lines on the top panels for pump discharge, and 4-inch and 6-inch cut lines on the bottom panels for SDR35 pipe extensions. Comes with extra heavy-duty lid.
